Freekin Creekin Canoe & Kayak Rentals LLC is a canoe, kayak and stand up paddleboard (SUP) rental service, providing boat rentals on the Cedar Creek and the lakes and rivers in the heart of the Pinelands. They are solely dedicated to your canoeing, kayaking, and transporting pleasure. Freekin Creekin believes it is essential and promise to be extremely courteous, friendly, and we will ensure that your day on the Cedar Creek will be one of your memorable highlights of the year. Whether you are inexperienced or a pro we will outfit you with all the appropriate equipment and instruction for a day of stress-free, pure laid back enjoyment. The Cedar Creek is a very safe, slow moving creek that can be enjoyed by beginners as well as experienced canoe and kayak enthusiasts. The Cedar Creek follows a meandering path through Double Trouble State Park and other parts of Berkeley Township, with plenty of places to stop for a picnic, swimming or exploring.

We have used Freekin Creekin many times their opening year. We have found their knowledge of the area and of the river impressive. Their professionalism is top notch.. from the time you check in to the time you get picked up. We highly recommend using Freekin Creekin for all your paddling trips down the creek!

Trip Ideas

Planning your trip is easy! You can choose the length trip you want before hand and decide to change it once you are on the creek. We always encourage that all renters enjoy the trip and don't rush. Enjoy the beauty of the Cedar Creek and the wonders it holds. You have plenty of time to make it to the end, so sit back and enjoy! There are several drop in locations as well as pick up points. You can choose the point you would like to drop in by looking at the preset schedule. Keep in mind you may choose to lengthen or shorten your trip, once your on the creek. Your trip options: First drop in location is at the Ore Pond boat access area , usually takes from 6-8hours roughly 8-10 miles long. Drop off time: 8:30am Second and most common drop in location is the White Bridge in Double Trouble Village, usually takes 4-5 hours roughly 5-6 miles long Drop off times: 8am, 9am, 10am, 11 am The Third and last drop off location is Western Blvd, (this is the short trip ) usually takes 1-2 hours roughly 3-4miles long Drop off times: 12pm, 1pm, 3pm
