About Exley's Christmas Tree Farm
Exley's is a cut-your-own Christmas tree farm. Walk the tagging fields, which are planted in Douglas fir, Norway spruce, blue spruce, Canaan fir and white pine, and choose a tree. A staff member has to tag it, and you pay before you cut. Bring a bow saw, because power saws are not allowed. Staff then net the tree and tie it to your car roof with sisal rope. If you would rather skip the field, precut Douglas fir, Fraser fir and Turkish fir are also sold. Trees are not flocked.
The Sewell farm adds a hayride out to the tree fields, Santa Land with its animated holiday houses, a live Santa and photo spots, a large indoor train display that is free to see, an outdoor Thomas the Train and a Holiday Tree House. Wreaths, roping and grave blankets are sold as well.
Exley's has a second farm at 1512 Monroeville Road in Monroeville, 856-777-2814, with its own activities: sleigh rides pulled by an antique tractor on weekends, an indoor train display, a scavenger hunt, a fire pit, a family game area and two donkeys named Jack and Jill. The tree farms are part of Exley's Landscaping Service, a family business that started more than four decades ago.

Special / Seasonal Events
Early tree tagging at the Sewell farm starts November 14, 2026. At the Monroeville farm, Fall Harvest Days run on weekends in October 2026. Christmas season sales and activities run at both farms once the season opens.
Tips and Tricks
Check the farm's Facebook page before you leave, since weather can limit the fields. Photographers are welcome at both farms, and the FAQ asks you to email the farm for terms: [email protected] for Sewell, [email protected] for Monroeville.
Admission & Guidelines
Trees are cut by you, with a bow saw only. Every tree must be tagged by an Exley's employee and paid for before it is cut. Trees in fields not open for tagging are being grown for future years. Dogs are welcome on a leash, and you need a plastic bag to clean up after them.
If you want your tree ready and waiting, the farm asks for 3 days notice through the Tree Pickup Request form on its website.
