About Creamy Acres Farm
Creamy Acres Farm is a working dairy farm on a quiet country road outside Mullica Hill, and it has been in the same family since 1968. The farm store and a garden center are open to the public, and the farm opens its gates for seasonal events: a daytime Fall Fest, the Night of Terror haunted attraction around Halloween and Night of Lights, a Christmas light display, in the holiday season.
Night of Terror is the one most people drive in for. The farm bills it as the largest and scariest haunted attraction in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. One ticket covers four attractions: the Ride of Terror, a haunted hayride through 25 acres of the farm that runs about 25 minutes; The Harvest, a walk through fields, swamps and shacks; The Playground, a 3-D clown haunt; and Dark Dreams, a walk-through of rooms built around common fears. A separate ticket buys a seat on the Haunted Paintball Hayride, where riders shoot zombies with mounted paintball guns. Everything is outdoors on a working farm, so you will get dirty.
The Fall Fest is the family version of the farm. Wagon rides carry visitors through the pumpkin patch, where you pick a pumpkin and have it weighed and priced at the patch, and a kiddie corn maze is a leisurely stroll on a corn trail. The Farm Park is built for young children, with toss games, a playground, pedal karts, an animal train and a zombie paintball shoot, and you can visit some of the farm animals. Concessions are sold on site.
The Night of Terror operator asks visitors to know a few things first: tickets are date and time specific, anyone under 18 must stay with an adult at all times, and flashlights, backpacks and cell phone photos with flash are not allowed.

A Brief History
Larry and Jeanne Ambruster started Creamy Acres in 1968 with a herd of 30 cows. It is still a working dairy farm, but the farm added agritourism in 1992. The Ambrusters' youngest son, Ron, and his wife Kim manage the visitor side of the farm today, including Night of Terror and Night of Lights.
Night of Terror says it was one of the first Haunted Paintball Hayride zombie hunts in the country.
Special / Seasonal Events
Night of Terror
Haunted hayride, haunted paintball hayride and walk-through haunts on October nights, run by the farm on its own grounds. The operator calls it the largest and scariest haunted attraction in the region and says plainly that the Ride of Terror is not for the weak hearted. Expect screams and a chainsaw. Anyone under 18 must be with an adult at all times, including inside the attractions, with no more than 4 minors to each adult 21 or older. The Haunted Paintball Hayride asks riders to be at least 48 inches tall. For 2026 it runs 13 nights from October 2 to October 31.
Fall Fest
A daytime family event with wagon rides through the pumpkin patch, a kiddie corn maze, the Farm Park and farm animals. Pumpkins are weighed and priced by the pound, cash only at the patch.
Night of Lights
A Christmas display you can see from your car or on a family hayride, with an indoor walk-through and visits with Santa and Christmas characters. For 2026 the season starts on Friday, November 27.
Tips and Tricks
Night of Terror is on a working farm, so wear closed-toe shoes you do not mind getting muddy and dress for the weather. Leave backpacks, large bags and flashlights in the car. No flash photography, and keep your phone away on the hayrides, since the operator says many are lost and few recovered. Props and actors are not to be touched.
Costumes are only allowed closer to Halloween, with no masks, hats or face coverings and no props or weapons.
Admission & Guidelines
For 2026, Night of Terror tickets must be bought online in advance, for a specific date and time, to guarantee entry. General admission is $40 per person online for the four haunted attractions, with higher prices on Friday and Saturday nights; the posted online prices run from $40 on general nights to $50 on Premium Saturdays. VIP tickets, which put you at the front of the line, start at $70. Service fees apply to online purchases. Tickets cover all four attractions together, with no tickets for one attraction alone, and there are no refunds, including if you are too scared to continue.
The Haunted Paintball Hayride is a separate ticket, $30 per person for 2026. A ride holds up to 30 people and lasts about 15 minutes, and a ticket includes about 100 to 150 paintballs, with reloads of 100 for $5. Every rider needs a ticket and their own seat at a paintball gun, with no lap sitters.
Thursday nights have a military discount of $10 off with ID, and a group rate of $35 per person for groups of 30 or more by reservation at 856-223-1669.
Hours / Season of Operation
The farm store is open Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays. Check the farm's site for store hours, since its pages list different ones.
For 2026, Night of Terror runs on 13 nights in October: Friday and Saturday, October 2 and 3; Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10; and then Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 15, 16 and 17, October 22, 23 and 24, and October 29, 30 and 31, with the last night on Halloween. All attractions are closed Sundays. The Haunted Paintball Hayride opens on October 9, so it is not running on October 2 and 3. The ticket booth hours posted for 2026 are 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM on October 2, 3, 15, 22, 29 and 31, and 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM on October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30. The farm advises arriving no earlier than 5:45 PM, and says Saturdays are the busiest nights and Thursdays the quietest.
The Fall Fest is a fall event that normally runs in the weeks before Halloween. Night of Lights is a holiday-season event, and for 2026 it starts on Friday, November 27.
