About Corrado's Hayride of Horrors and Corn Maze
The Corrado family has been brightening dark autumn nights with frights and chills on their Mansfield Township farm, just outside Hackettstown, for more than 20 years. Corrado's Farm presents the Hayride of Horrors every fall, with a haunted house and a haunted corn maze alongside it at night, and a much gentler daytime farm visit on weekends.
The Hayride of Horrors is a 45-minute ride through the farm's haunted woods, with scenes played by actors and animatronics, 30 to 35 people to a wagon. Halfway through, the wagon stops for the farm's "cyanide cider and decomposed doughnuts." The haunted house is back for the 2026 season, and the haunted corn maze is a choose-your-own-adventure walk through the corn, with fog and strobe effects and exits along the way for anyone who needs to make a hasty retreat. Doing the hayride and the maze takes about 90 minutes to two hours. The farm's tip: with a combo ticket, do the hayride first.
How scary is it? The farm says the event is meant to be fun for the whole family, and that everything is performed by actors and is completely safe, but that they do their best to play into your fears. Some children who are fine with scary movies get very afraid seeing the actors and scenes in person, children under 15 must be with an adult during the attractions, and yes, there are clowns. For younger kids the daytime visit is the safe bet: the dayride runs with no actors, and the day also brings a corn maze, a petting zoo and pumpkin picking.
While you wait for dark there is a concession stand with hot food and treats, picnic tables and a photo area by the ticket booth.

Tips and Tricks
Friday is usually the lightest night and Saturday the busiest. Going late? Bring a blanket for the wagon. Wear sneakers or boots, since everything is outdoors; the farm warns that you will never escape the monsters in flip-flops or high heels. Strobe lights are used on the hayride and in the corn maze, and fog machines in both, so take care if strobes affect you. If you need to leave the hayride, tell the wagon driver; in the maze, tell an attendant.
Admission & Guidelines
Each attraction has its own ticket. For 2026, at the farm's ticket booth, the haunted hayride is $25, the haunted house $25 and the haunted corn maze $17, or $55 for all three ($50 on Student Sundays). Active military pay $10 for any attraction, and children under five are free. The daytime dayride with pumpkin picking is $10 and the daytime corn maze $5. Online tickets cost more with fees ($28.39 for the hayride or house, $19.62 for the maze, $61.24 for the combo) but let you skip the ticket booth.
For the 2026 season, in-person tickets and the concession stand are cash only. No reservation is needed and the farm says it does not sell out; online buyers who arrive by 9:30 PM are guaranteed time for all the attractions. Schools and established organizations with more than 10 people can get group rates by reserving ahead and paying in person. Refunds are not given to guests who cannot finish their visit.
Hours / Season of Operation
Haunted nights run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through October, and the daytime farm activities run on weekends from late September through most of October. For 2026 the night attractions (haunted hayride, haunted house and haunted corn maze) are on October 2 and 3, 9 to 11, 16 to 18, 23 to 25, and 30 and 31. The daytime activities (dayride, corn maze, petting zoo and pumpkin picking) run 11 AM to 4 PM on September 27 and on Saturdays and Sundays from October 3 to October 25.
On haunted nights the parking lot opens at 6 PM and the ticket booth opens at dusk, around 6:30 PM; the attractions start once it is dark enough to scare you. Ticket sales end at 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 9:30 PM on Sundays, and the attractions stay open until everyone in line has been through. Check the farm's calendar for date-specific hours and exceptions.
