Manalapan is home to Monmouth Battlefield State Park, a rural 18th-century landscape of farmland and hedgerows with miles of hiking and horseback trails, picnic areas and a restored farmhouse. Thompson Grove Park has walking paths, a fishing lake and a dog park, and Happy Day Farm and Maple Leaf Farms open corn mazes in the fall.
