About Field Station: Dinosaurs

The Field Station is a wild scientific expedition just minutes from New York City. Over thirty life-sized, realistic dinosaurs come to life thanks to the brilliant engineering of the world's leading roboticists and the imagination of our artists.

The story of the dinosaurs is vividly presented in Bergen County's beautiful Overpeck County Park, on the banks of a scenic creek and surrounded by natural woods. Scientists have worked to ensure that the exhibition encompasses the latest theories and discoveries in the fields of paleontology, geology, and environmental studies.

And at the center of it all is the fun, the joy and the wonder of dinosaurs. Our expedition takes every family on a shared adventure - full of mystery, surprise and a sense of awe.

Our Personal Take...

We visited the previous FSDino location in Secaucus back in 2013. Though we did not visit with any kids, we had a very fun afternoon checking out the exhibits, listening to the park employees share stories and their knowledge of dinosaursin creative ways. It was certainly worth the trip!

Programs / Education

Workshops, games and activities connect the story of the dinosaurs to our world today, giving new relevance to their lives, and power to the tale of their extinction.
