Things to See & Do

Maple Leaf Farms has special and seasonal events throughout the year, including their Fall Festival and Christmas Wonderland.

The fall one is Fall Fun Fest. Take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, pick your pumpkins (priced by the pound), and get lost in the giant, custom-designed corn maze. More than 30 activities are included with admission: pillow jumps for big and little kids, a zip line, pedal karts, a tiny trike track, farm animals, goat mountain, tire mountain, a monster truck slide, a hay maze, a corn tunnel, Charlotte's Spiderweb, the Animal Playground and Boat Yard Playground, sandboxes and a sand crane play area, tractor and tire swings, pumpkin bowling, rubber duck races, corn hole and an observation bridge.

Scheduled shows run all afternoon: pig races, a live bull riding rodeo show, and live country music. Train rides, gold mining and the corn cannon cost extra. School trips and company outings can also be booked.

Special / Seasonal Events

Fall Fun Fest. Weekends from mid-September through October, with pumpkin picking, hayrides, the corn maze, pig races, bull riding and more than 30 farm activities. For 2026 it runs September 12 through October 31.

Easter Hayrides. In March and April, a hayride out to meet the Easter Bunny, with springtime photo ops.

Summer Market. Every summer weekend, an outdoor market with local vendors, farm-fresh goods and handmade crafts.

Christmas Wonderland. Winter weekends with holiday light train rides at night on an open-cart train through glowing trees and light displays, Christmas train rides, photos with Santa, fresh Christmas trees and wreaths, and a Christmas walk-through built from rare animatronics from stores around the world, going back to the 1930s.

Tips and Tricks

Fall Fun Fest is spread across the farm, so give yourself time and get there well before the 4 PM last entry. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes for farm ground. Bring cash: the posted prices are cash prices, and cards cost 3% more.

Admission & Guidelines

For 2026, Fall Fun Fest admission is $28 per person for ages 2 and up, and $25 for seniors 65 and older. Tickets are sold at the entrance only, with no online sales. Pumpkin patch entry is included, and the pumpkins you pick are sold by the pound. For 2026, train rides cost $6, gold mining $5 and the corn cannon $6. Pets are not permitted inside Fall Fun Fest, and outside food and drinks are not allowed.

The farm takes cash, cards and New Jersey checks of $50 or more. Posted prices are cash prices, and paying by card adds 3%.

Hours / Season of Operation

The garden center and Country Store are open every day, 9 AM to 5 PM, year-round.

Fall Fun Fest runs Saturdays and Sundays from mid-September through the end of October, plus the Monday holidays of Yom Kippur and Columbus Day, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Last entry is 4 PM, and the activities close at 4 PM, so the farm recommends arriving by 3:30 PM or earlier. For 2026 the dates are September 12 through October 31, plus Monday, September 21 and Monday, October 12. For 2026 the pig races are at noon, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, the bull riding show runs from 2 to 3:30 PM, and the country music plays until about 3 PM.

Facilities

Fall Fun Fest has a baby changing area, handwashing stations throughout the farm, portable restrooms, picnic areas and plenty of seating, much of it shaded or under awnings. A full menu of food, snacks, water, soft drinks and sugar-free drinks is sold throughout the event.

Monmouth Battlefield State Park is about 4 miles south, and Happy Day Farm, with its own corn maze and fall festival, is about 5 miles southwest.
