A Brief History

Goffle Brook Park was established between 1930 and 1932. The park was designed by the Olmsted Brothers, the sons of the famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. During the American Revolution, the area was of historical significance as General Marquis de Lafayette and his troops were stationed along Goffle Brook. The park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
