Here are some of our favorite gardens and arboretums to visit in New Jersey this spring.
First on the list is the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township. This 127-acre arboretum is home to a variety of gardens, including a rock garden, a rose garden, and a medicinal garden. The arboretum's hiking trails offer a chance to enjoy the beauty of nature while getting some exercise. Remember to check out the historic Colonial Revival mansion, which now serves as the arboretum's visitor center.
Next up is the Sayen House and Gardens in Hamilton. This hidden gem features a beautiful pond, a Japanese garden, and an azalea garden. The gardens are also home to various sculptures and a charming gazebo. If you're a fan of photography, this is a great spot to capture some stunning shots.
