Galloway Township is home to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, more than 47,000 acres of coastal salt marsh with an 8-mile Wildlife Drive open year round and over 360 bird species recorded. The Galloway East and West Tracts add county trails for hiking, biking and birdwatching, and Stockton University's observatory is on campus.
