About A. Casola Farms
A. Casola Farms is a family farm and nursery on Route 34 in Holmdel, run by Antonio and Kim Weigand Casola, whose families have farmed in Holmdel and the towns around it for more than 200 years. The farm has a 200-acre nursery and large greenhouses and grows its own hay, straw and produce, and it calls itself the original pick-your-own pumpkin and hayride farm.
Each fall it runs Fall Fest, with free admission. You pay only for what you want to do: hayrides and the petting zoo every day of the season, pony rides from Thursday to Sunday, and on weekends the corn maze, a haunted house, face painting and gold panning as well. All the attractions run from 9 AM to 5 PM.

A Brief History
Antonio and Kim Weigand Casola run the farm as a husband and wife team, and their ancestors farmed in Holmdel and the surrounding area for more than 200 years. The farm says it started the first pick-your-own pumpkin and hayride farm, and it hears every fall from parents who came here for a pumpkin as children and are now bringing their own.
Special / Seasonal Events
The haunted house is a daytime attraction, open 9 AM to 5 PM on fall weekends, Columbus Day and Halloween. The farm publishes no age guidance or scare level for it, so call 732-332-1533 if you are unsure about bringing young children.
Admission & Guidelines
Admission to Fall Fest is free, and each attraction is paid for separately. For 2026 the farm lists hayrides at $8, the petting zoo at $8, pony rides at $12, the corn maze at $9, the haunted house at $11, face painting at $11 and gold panning at $8.
Hours / Season of Operation
Fall Fest runs daily from late September through Halloween, with all attractions operating from 9 AM to 5 PM. Hayrides and the petting zoo run every day; pony rides are added Thursday through Sunday; the corn maze, haunted house, face painting and gold panning open on Saturdays and Sundays, Columbus Day and Halloween. For 2026, Fall Fest runs from Saturday, September 26 to Saturday, October 31.
The farm office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3 PM.
