Jackson is home to Six Flags Great Adventure, Hurricane Harbor and the Wild Safari, and to quieter outdoor places: Bunker Hill Bogs for fishing and paddling, the trails at the Forest Resource Education Center, and Prospertown Lake. Campgrounds such as Indian Rock and Butterfly Camping Resort make it a weekend base.
