Forked River is a section of Lacey Township. It is home to Popcorn Park Animal Refuge, where more than 200 rescued animals and birds live, and Argos Farm, whose fall festival has a corn maze, pumpkin picking and wagon rides. In summer, Lake Barnegat on Lakeside Drive has a floating playground.
