Manasquan is a beach town where the Manasquan River meets the ocean. A mile-long boardwalk runs along the beach, and Curtis Park has large inclusive playgrounds. Gull Island County Park and Fisherman's Cove are good places to launch a kayak, fish or wade, and Stockton Beach Park has a skate park and a boat launch into Watson's Creek.
