A Call To NJ Park Systems (campgrounds and sporting good stores too)

For the GetOutsideNJ project to grow, I would need to drive around NJ, randomly, everyday, all day. You can see the random driving tonight within the screen shot I posted. What we really need is direct help from all the state, county and muni parks around NJ.

To be added is a searchable park directory (for free), we need the following information emailed in a word doc, excel file, etc:

• Name
• Short description
• Specific location (address and/or GPS lat/lon)
• Amenities (baseball fields/bathrooms/dog parks)
• URL(s)
• Contact info.
• High quality photos (optional, but recommended)

What this will get you is one place for all your parks to be showcased, shared, commented on, and searched for by our hundred thousand+ visitors a year. And in 2014, we expect that to double. You can also share calendar listings, photos and more and we'll be able to promote that too! Lastly, we'll work on a nice article about your contribution to GetOut, any changes coming in the next year with your system, and promote that across our social sites.

One last note: This does apply to ANY outdoor group, location, shop. This includes campgrounds and bike shops. Please feel free to contact us right away.
