About Riverwood Park
Riverwood park contains baseball and soccer fields, a few playgrounds, many walking/biking trails, and river access. There are also a few free campsites (with a permit only). 1 of the six sites is accessible from a motor vehicle, and even then the potable water and toilets are a half mile away. The other sites are all hike-in or canoe-in only. Campsites stretch out along 2 miles of eastern shoreline of the North Branch of the Toms River.
