The volunteers of the New Jersey Museum of Transportation run their Pine Creek Railroad after dark through the haunted woods of Allaire State Park. Trains leave every half hour from 7:00 to 9:30 PM on Friday and Saturday nights in October.
Tickets are sold only at the railroad's ticket office on the night, from 5:30 PM. Not a fan of scares? The regular, non-haunted train rides run every half hour on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
