Allaire Village Needs Your Help!

We’ve got an important update and a heartfelt call for support. The Historic Village at Allaire is facing some tough times and they need our help more than ever. Here’s the official message from them:

A MESSAGE FROM THE HISTORIC VILLAGE AT ALLAIRE

Our mission of operating the Historic Village at Allaire has been negatively impacted for over a year now by outside forces such as the economy, rising inflation costs, unprecedented weather, and limited grant funding. All of these things combined together have propelled us to take a serious additional step of saving costs and funds for the summer months.

Allaire Village and the Management Offices will be closed to the public from Monday, July 15th through Tuesday, August 6th. The closing includes all historic buildings, the Visitor’s Center, educational programming for students, programs for our special needs citizens along with events. The Management Offices will open again on Wednesday, August 7th. Normal operations will resume on Friday, August 9th. These cost-saving measures will enable us to save funds for the extremely busy Fall and Holiday seasons. Any events scheduled between these closing dates are going to be rescheduled or postponed until next year.

Our hearts are heavy, but we are determined to keep going. Now more than ever, we need your help. If you are able and love the Historic Village at Allaire, please make a donation so we can keep this beautiful place flourishing for generations to come. Please know you can still walk through the village and if you do, please enjoy it and think of the volunteers and staff who work at the Village and bring it to life.
